Reorganisation administrator
The court-appointed insolvency administrator who supervises the debtor's administration in self-administered reorganisation proceedings.
In self-administered reorganisation proceedings, administration of the insolvency estate remains with the debtor but is supervised by a court-appointed insolvency administrator, the reorganisation administrator. Certain legal acts require that administrator's approval or may be subject to an objection.
The reorganisation administrator must be distinguished from an insolvency administrator acting after self-administration has been denied or withdrawn and from a restructuring practitioner under the ReO. The reorganisation and restructuring hub places these roles in context; the article on reorganisation proceedings in Austria explains the link with self-administration.
