Outstanding business claim in insolvency
Compile the claim basis, payments, security and court information.
First distinguish the insolvency claim from security rights and third-party ownership. The claim concerns the payment right and its filing. Security may create a separate route to satisfaction, while ownership of an asset may require a separation review under section 44 IO.
For the filing step, see the detailed guide to filing instead of ordinary collection. The creditor hub provides the wider review path. After filing, the schedule status records whether the claim is admitted or disputed.

Legal starting point
Under section 102 IO in the current RIS text, insolvency creditors must pursue their claims under the Insolvency Code. Take the start of the filing period from the court notice and assign it to the claim file.
A claim, security and ownership are not interchangeable. Whether a security right or separation right can be pursued alongside filing depends on the contract, the asset and the procedural status.
This checklist supports preparation and does not replace legal advice on an individual matter. Court notices and dates must be checked in the actual proceedings.
